Function of Equol
Equol is a metabolite excreted from soy isoflavones after being decomposed and digested by intestinal bacteria, also known as "super isoflavones", and like soy isoflavones, play an estrogen-like role in the body.
1. It can improve menopausal symptoms and promote collagen production.
2. The level of equol production rate is ultimately related to the level of uric acid, triglyceride, blood sugar and bone density in the body.
