1.Carboprost (INN, trade names for the tromethamine salts Hemabate, Tham) is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue of PGF2α (specifically, it is 15-methyl-PGF2α) with oxytocic properties.
2.(5Z,9.alpha.,11.alpha.,13E,15S)-9,11,15-trihydroxy-15-methyl-prosta-5,13-dien-1-oic acid, compd. with 2-amino-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol is the salt of Carboprost, an analog of prostaglandin F2α.
